Product Description Info from Fly Bikes: Stefan and Kevin wanted to name them after something related with their hometowns and in spanish. Stefan lives by the mountains and Kevin near to a lake so here they are, Montaña and Lago. On frames, we came up with some interesting features: TAPED TOP AND DOWN TUBES These tubes allows having bigger diameter where you really need it witch is on the headtube junctions and save some weight without decreasing strength at all. We have realized that 36mm. on top tube and 38mm. on down tube have the perfect ratio strength-weight so here are the diameters: Top tube: 36mm. on head tube junction / 32mm. on seat post junction. Down tube: 38mm. on head tube junction / 34mm. on seat post junction. INVEST CASTING DROPOUTS No visible welds, clean look mid size dropouts with those nice sinked details on them. HORIZONTAL CUT SEAT POST CUT This horizontal cut makes the seat clamp to act in a more logical way. You just have to tighten the bolt a bit and the seat stays in place. No more broken bolts or clamps. Don’t expect super light frames here. Stefan, Kevin wanted strong frames that you can rely on and don’t snap going big. We totally agree with them. Why you have to sacrifice your frame and your neck for 200grs. / 7 oz.? It doesn’t make sense if you think about it. Both frames are on the 4.8 lb. mark which is light enough. Here is the geometry, weight and colours: • Brakeless only. • Headtube: 75º. • Seatstays: 13.65” on the 21”, 13.25” on the 20.6”. • Seat tube: 69º. • Top tubes: 20.6” and 21”. • Colours: Flat Turquoise & Flat Grey. • Weight: 2.180 grs. / 4.8 lb.
