FBM TRIBUTE NIGHT 10/04/10

This night was always going to be pretty rowdy! And it didn't dissapoint! Somehow myself Kurt and Mel managed to get everything together with a little help from the people at the pub. The turnout was really good and people were crammed in tight. Due to a technical issue (not having the DVD) we couldn't show the 'I Love My Bicycle' DVD so we just showed loads of other stuff and no one seemed to mind. Lots of beer and cider was consumed and good fun was had by all...ROLL ON NEXT TIME!!! P.s. Well Done Kurt!

On Friday I decided it was about time I took some new BMX pictures. Then It rained. Luckily later on that day it dried up and Adam managed to dodge all the kids on Micro Scooters enough times for me to take these shots. For more BMX shots see www.flickr.com/leonfoggitt

Stay Fit 17/11/09

Stay Fit

I’ve be living in Brighton now since June and have been fortunate enough to be given a job at Brighton BMX Co (best job I’ve had by far!). The stay fit video has been long awaited so it was awesome to be able to ask the local pub round the corner if they could hold it; Bob and I ran a few ideas past the guys (Chris and John) at the Northern tavern and they seem to accept them with open arms which was fantastic! We had a few close moments along the way with being able to actually find a device big enough to accommodate sixty plus riders actually being able to see the DVD, but our friend Paul at cash converters soon sorted that out for us. Projector sorted and sheets bought from the local pound land we were ready and primed, all we needed now was people to turn up, and that they did coming from all over the country; Leeds, Pompy, Basingstoke, Croydon and Essex to name a few.

Fireworks, beer, lots of people and a great atmosphere made it a successful night; my apologies to Bruza and the boys from Basingstoke, for promising to put them up then passing out, also to Chris and his boys from Essex who managed to sleep in a tent without a top, dont quite know how that works.

Basically thanks to Tom from 4Down,Mad John from seventies, David and Lia from IMG and everyone that came, fun was had by all. More showings like this will happen in the future thanks to everyone who made this happen and i hope you all keep supporting the shop we got some good things coming for the new year so watch this space, cheers.

- Kurt
